Replacement and spare keys. Remote, proximity and smart keys for many Jaguar models, whether your keys are lost, stolen, damaged or you simply want a spare. Dashboard replacement. On some Jaguars the immobiliser is housed in the dashboard, and it occasionally fails. You might see warning messages, a flashing immobiliser light or a car that won’t start. New units are expensive and often come with long parts delays, so where suitable we fit a second-hand unit to save you both time and money.
Electronic steering lock (ESL). Many smart key and push button start Jaguars use an electronic steering lock, and these modules are prone to failure. Many can be refurbished, while some need replacing. More on electronic steering lock replacement.
Door and ignition locks. Jaguar locking systems use precise mechanical parts, including door lock and latch assemblies, ignition lock cylinders and steering lock assemblies. When these fail we replace them and retain the original key code where possible.
Engine Control Unit (ECU) replacement. ECU faults can cause starting, coding or gearbox shifting issues. We recommend mechanical and sensor diagnosis first, and if the ECU is confirmed faulty we can replace most types with a second-hand unit. See ECU replacement.
Jaguar security systems are closely linked, so a key or module that isn’t coded correctly can leave the car unable to start. We use professional diagnostic and programming equipment to read, update and erase security coding on Jaguar vehicles, which lets us work with many newer Jaguar key and immobiliser systems.
